"Fishing is not an escape from life, but often a deeper immersion into it ." - Harry Middleton
During this Covid 19 global pandemic we have taken on board the official Government and Angling Trust guidelines associated with the sport of Fly Fishing and we have put in place various precautions and practices to ensure the safety of all our members. If you do plan on taking advantage of this beautiful reservior, it would be appreciated if you would be good enough to follow the undermentioned advice for everyones continued safety..
Please do not visit Burrator if you are feeling at all unwell. Please stay at home and seek official guidance.
When using any equiptment that is to be shared by other members, the boats for example, please sanitise it before and after use.
Where possible, please use gloves and hand sanitisers to reduce contact with the surfaces that may be touched by others.

Boat Fishing at Burrator
Burrator fishes well from the bank however using a boat adds an extra dimension to the sport. Boats are available to hire by members of Burrator Fly Fishers Association only. They are very reasonably priced and an evenings boat hire can cost as little as £5. Members are able to reserve the boats by using the online booking tool which can be accessed by clicking on the link above. As well as the boats we have an electric outboard motor, seats and drouge which members can use (hire fee for the motor applies).
